Confetti Studio
Tuesday, July 3, 2012 And so begins a new adventure! On August 17, I'll be given a set of keys to a new space that I'll call my little creative oasis. My dear friend, Annabel and I will be opening what I hope will be a little creative oasis for all who come to visit. Confetti Studio. For a while we have spoken about what fun it would be to have a studio to both teach and learn all those lovely crafty projects that we have torn out of magazines, bookmarked and pinned on our DIY boards. I can't tell you how excited I am to start on this new journey. My little company Lalas Pequenos will now have a new home to be nurtured and grow in.
Our vision is to teach our community all the knowledge we've gained through workshops and classes. We'll be hosting an array of visiting teachers (we can't wait to tell you who's coming!) from all over the country. We're talking the gurus for the sewing/crafting world! But most importantly we are excited about all the connections that will be made. I can't tell you how therapeutic it is to sit among girlfriends and talk about everything under the sun while making something lovely.
What I'm most amazed about though is the wonderful support that we have received from all our friends and family. Without them, this whole thing would not be possible. So thank you all. The more friends that we have tooting horns and blowing whistles about Confetti Studio, the more we can grow our little space. Congratulations on the new adventure! You're going to have a great time getting this started and watching it grow. Just last month I saw LalasPequenos in a baby magazine and remembered you from blogging way back when I had just started blogging. I think I just might be as excited about this as you two are! Love all the creativity moving into this little town and it's about time. Move over accountants and lawyers...there are some new games in town!!! You gals will be success, I just know it.
