Heather Ross Sewing Workshop in Palm Springs
Friday, February 3, 2012 Heather Ross organized the best sewing workshop EVER. Palm Springs, fabric, cocktails and some fabulous women got together to make awesome happen. Awesome like "I can't believe I'm sewing with Heather Ross, Anna Maria Horner, Denyse Schmidt, and Gretchen Hirsch!" Not only were we staying in the coolest place, the Ace Hotel, but the weather was blissful.
This is a perfect workshop to attend if you have unfinished projects, need a creative boost, or would like to learn techniques that you've been wanting to tackle. Also, if you like to sew surrounded by fun people, and dogs, and a private pool, and did I mention the cocktails?

Annabel from Little Pincushion Studio and I getting inspiration.
Denyse Schmidt taught us a great technique for piecing fabric together to make a little pouch.
Rachel Jensen Faucett from Handmade Charlotte prepping her whimsical crown.

The fabulous Gretchen- she has a beautiful book coming out about vintage patterns she's adapted.
A perfect get away weekend and the toping on the amazing past two weeks spent exploring the depth of my creativity. I'm exhausted, fulfilled, and raring to go.
(Not on the Vespa though.)

What great pictures! Looks like a fun time.
WOW! So jealous (once again damn it! LOL). That hotel looks so fabulous, that alone would have me inspired!
Looks like so much fun! How did you girls hear about this?! Palm Springs in only a couple hours from me, would've loved to join in on the sewing fun. Looks like it is slightly smaller than Alt too ;)
