Happiness is { miniature gardens }
Monday, May 16, 2011 Right about the third hour of digging a draining trench in my vegetable garden this weekend, I realized that whomever came up with the idea to make a miniature garden is a genius. I've been fascinated by these little diddies ever since I saw them at the Philadelphia Flower show years ago.

And so back I go to the trenches because although the thought of gardening from my couch is quite appealing right about now, eating miniature tomatoes would not be.

oh my gosh! I want one! I want a miniature garden!
Those are amazing!
But can I get fresh peas, spinach, and leaf lettuce from them?
oh my, these are fantastic! i love the tiny tire swing!
at first thought I wondered if these gems were the solution to a very small patio, then I decided I'm with you. A few herbs are better than a cute miniature garden if not as good as a tomato vine run amok.
I've always thought miniature gardens were cute too, but I don't know if you could practically grow any vegetables in there. Their only job is to be tiny and cute. Although I do know people who've successfully grown herbs in tiny gardens.
These mini gardens are so cute, and a lot of work I would imagine!
I had a friend who had one of these and we were not allowed to touch it--of course we would anyway since we were like 6, but I remembered thinking it was the coolest thing ever.
These are so clever. I love them.
SO so cute!!! I m in love with that tiny little swing!
Ah, this is so wonderful...! Just now my spice garden started to sprout, and I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate it into the decor (my balcony is excessively windy for plants to survive...)
I think something like the Salvage Garden would work for me! :)
