Monday, April 4, 2011 Also known as knit graffiti. How fabulous would it be to look over at an unsuspecting tree only to realize it's been covered by a "sweater"?

That is a heck of a lot of knitting!!! I really like Thomas Jefferson in leggings!
How did they do that?! Photoshop? I am amazed.
Those are awesome!
Oh, these photos make me so happy! Especially that shot of the tank. I've never heard of yarn bombing. Such an awesome concept. I think the world needs as much "pretty" as it can get. :)
This is just the greatest thing ever. I pretty much love all types of guerilla art or street art, especially when you come across something in real life that's unexpected and colorful and makes you laugh or smile or just stop what you're doing and think.
I was lucky enough to encounter a knit-covered bike in Brooklyn, once...
There is a bronze statue of Shakespeare –siting on a majestic chair– in my neighborhood... I bet he would really appreciate a cozy for his iPod!
That's awesome! You can't look at these pictures without smiling. Loved the leg warmers! LOL
This is amazing! The bull is just great. I would love to catch someone doing this!
